1. Purpose of the Pilgrimage

  • Bhakti Yatras are organized exclusively to enrich spiritual consciousness and deepen one’s devotional practice. These tours are not regular sightseeing trips. All participants are expected to maintain a devotional atmosphere.
  • Please avoid discussing or promoting personal spiritual beliefs, rituals, or ideologies that are not aligned with Vedic teachings.
  • Questions or clarifications may be shared politely during the Q&A session after discourses.

2. Food & Lifestyle Guidelines

To preserve purity and spiritual focus throughout the yatra:

  • Only Sattvic food (no onion, no garlic) Prasadam will be served.
  • No non-vegetarian food or eggs are permitted.
  • Tea/Coffee is not served. Participants may purchase on their own, if required, but are encouraged to avoid.

Every pilgrim is expected to strictly follow the four regulative principles:

  • No meat, fish, or eggs
  • No intoxication (including alcohol, cigarettes, gutka, etc.)
  • No illicit sex
  • No gambling

3. Dress Code

Please dress in a manner that supports devotional culture:

  • Men: Kurta-Pajama, Dhoti, or formal shirt-pants
  • Women: Saree or Salwar-Chudidar with Dupatta

Kindly avoid skirts, shorts, minis, and flashy or inappropriate clothing, as dress influences consciousness.

4. Conduct During the Pilgrimage

  • The pilgrimage encourages association, but forming romantic, illicit, or inappropriate relationships or soliciting business among fellow pilgrims is strictly prohibited.
  • The Tour Manager reserves the right to cancel the participation of any individual engaging in such behaviour without refund.
  • Lectures will be in English & Hindi.

5. Special Assistance

  • Pilgrims who require special support (wheelchairs, autos, porters, dolis, etc.) may arrange them at their own cost.
  • Participants above the age of 70 are strongly advised to travel with a family member or guardian.

6. Delay, Disruption & Force Majeure

Bhakti Yatra shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Political unrest
  • War, riots, terrorism
  • Strikes, traffic delays
  • Natural calamities
  • Government restrictions
  • Airline/rail changes or cancellations

We are not responsible for personal injury or loss of life for any reason.
In emergencies, your nominated family contact will be informed via SMS/email.
Any unforeseen disputes will be handled under Arbitration Act, 1940, and jurisdiction will be Indore courts only.

7. PAYMENTS & BOOKINGS

a) Payment Methods

Payments may be made through:
Cheque/DD/NEFT/RTGS/Bank Transfer or Cash Deposit (below ₹1.99 lakh per person)

  • Kindly share the transaction details after making the payment.
  • Kindly collect the receipt after making the payment.

b) Balance Payment

Must be paid 60 days before departure. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation.

c) Fare Changes

Fares may change due to Government policies or unforeseen circumstances.

8. ACCOMMODATION, TRAVEL & DARSHAN

a) Accommodation

  • Standard twin-sharing
  • Extra persons receive a mattress/rollaway bed.
  • Early check-in/late check-out will incur extra charges and subject to availability

b) Travel

  • AC coaches will be arranged; if unavailable, Non-AC coaches will be used.
  • Seat allocation is decided by the Pilgrimage Coordinator.
  • Trains/Flights follow respective carrier rules.

c) Darshan

i. All pilgrims must carry:

  • At least one original government photo ID
  • Any mandatory ID proofs required at specific pilgrimage sites
  • Bhakti Yatra does not guarantee coverage of all places mentioned in the itinerary due to local conditions, restrictions, weather, or force majeure.

ii. Minimum Group Requirement

Tours operate only when minimum group size is met. If not, the tour may be:

  • Combined with another group
  • Conducted by a mini-bus/taxi
  • Postponed

iii. Itinerary and timings are subject to change.

iv. Guides

A Bhakti Yatra Coordinator will accompany the group. Any requirement of additional local guides must be paid separately.

9. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

10. OTHER CONDITIONS

  • Bhakti Yatra is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, accidents, or theft.
  • Tours will be confirmed only after reaching minimum capacity.
  • Flight tickets must be booked only after tour confirmation.
  • If the tour is cancelled by the organizers, full refund will be issued within 30 days.
  • No compensation is provided for consequential losses.
  • If a tour extends due to unavoidable reasons, then the applicable charges have to be paid by the pilgrim.

11. DECLARATION

By participating in this pilgrimage, I/we confirm:

  • I/we will follow all rules and regulations throughout the yatra.
  • I/we are solely responsible for my belongings and punctuality.
  • I/we understand all terms and conditions clearly.
  • I/we accept responsibility for any medical issues and will not hold the organizers liable.
  • I/we will avoid any illegal or immoral activity and will not carry flammable or restricted items.
  • I/we will maintain discipline and indemnify fellow participants for any loss caused by my actions.
  • I/we understand that Bhakti Yatra does NOT provide travel insurance. Pilgrims must arrange their own insurance, including coverage for personal belongings.
